Issue Positions State Spending It’s imperative we become better stewards of our money and ensure the state lives within the confines of actual revenues. I support audits of each state program to set spending priorities and eliminate ineffective programs.

Integrity In The Legislature Recent indictments of state legislators and employees brought attention to the corruption which has plagued Harrisburg for decades. I support tougher ethics rules for legislators and have introduced legislation to curtail legislator/lobbyist relations. Property Taxes Property taxes unfairly burden York County homeowners. I support the complete elimination of property taxes and have introduced legislation to ensure all state gaming revenues go to reducing property taxes. Crime Prevention While the prison population has decreased throughout the country, Pennsylvania’s prison population has seen the greatest increase in the country. There are plans to build 3 more prisons to house this growing population. I support prevention funding, which will save money and keep our young adults out of prison. I have also taken the lead to ensure criminals start paying their fair share of our judicial system. Constitutional Convention The cost of state government has gotten out of control. I support a constitutional convention to allow the people of Pennsylvania to reform state government and the legislature. We must return government back to the hands of the taxpayers.
