Grove Announces Candidacy for Pennsylvania's 196th Legislative District Seat

Focuses on Property Tax Elimination, Clean Energy and Pro-Business Initiatives

York, July 6, 2008 - Lifelong York County resident, Seth Grove, announced today that he is a candidate to represent the people of the 196th legislative district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

A graduate of York College with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Spring Grove graduate, Grove has extensive experience in state and federal government. He has dedicated his career to public service, serving as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Todd Platts (R - York) and State Representative Stan Saylor (R - Windsor). Grove currently serves as the Chief of Staff for State Representative Keith Gillespie (R - Hellam).

"I have been extremely grateful for these opportunities to serve the people of York County and help them address their individual concerns with their state and federal governments," Grove said. "As the Representative of the 196th legislative district, I intend to build upon this experience to eliminate property taxes, reduce government spending, reduce taxes and increase clean energy."
